Microfiche Duplication

Microfiche Duplication

B A Micrographics can produce duplicate copies from your original 16mm microfiche using diazo or silver halide copy film.

Duplicate copies should be made from the original microfiche when they are first produced.
The microfiche duplicates are commonly known as the 'working copy', and used for viewing and printing.
The original microfiche should be stored securely in a fireproof safe, or an off site location for protection against loss or damage until they needed.

The diazo duplicating material will produce an exact copy of your original microfiche, the diazo image can be either blue or black in appearance.
The diazo microfiche copy material is more durable than the original microfiche.
If a diazo microfiche duplicate does get damaged, you will have the master microfiche safely stored to produce a new working copy from.

Silver Halide microfiche duplicating material is used for producing copies for long term, or archival storage.
Original microfiche are usually negative format, but silver copies can be negative or positive.

No matter how large, small or complex your microfilm project is,

B A Micrographics have the experience and expertise to complete the work to the agreed specification and standard.
